We are looking for a Move-Out Coordinator to join our Continuing Care Retirement Community. In this role, you will help residents and their families through the move-out process by answering questions, explaining procedures, and managing logistics. How you will make an impact

  • Facilitate logistics for vacating the unit, including scheduling activities related to removing possessions and overseeing moving day arrangements.
  • Support residents throughout the entire move-out process, addressing issues, attending to special needs, answering questions, and providing information on moving companies, address changes, telephone service, etc.
  • Review key documents with residents or their family members, such as the move-out handbook, Resident Care Agreement Contract, and entrance deposit refund form, while also explaining the final bill and escrow process.
  • Refer families to Pastoral Ministries and Social Work in the event of a resident’s death.
  • Enter resident information into the Deposit Tracking System.
  • Oversee the completion of the resident’s final bill and entrance deposit refund.
  • Monitor the resale status of the unit and communicate updates with residents and/or family members.

​Compensation: Commensurate upon experience starting at $21.00 per hour.

What you will need

  • Strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a clear understanding of the move out hand books, Residence and Care Agreement, knowledge of legal documents and applicable state statutes.
