Job Description

Ironstate Properties is a full-service premier residential real estate developer and manager of luxury apartment rentals in Northern New Jersey. We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Move-In and Move-Out Coordinator to join our team in Harrison, NJ. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring a smooth transition for new residents into our community. As the Move-In and Move-Out Coordinator, you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire onboarding process, from initial planning for new residents to conducting follow-ups post-move, ensuring a seamless move-in and move-out experience.

Rate range: $ 27.00 - $28.87/hour

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to*:

  • Ensure apartments are ready for Resident move-in, coordinate with Maintenance and conduct new move-in walk-throughs with the new resident(s)
  • Coordinate all arrangements for Resident move in’s and move out’s, notifications, acquire proper authorizations and collect certificate of insurance as necessary
  • Address all service issues, concerns and/or complaints related to maintenance.
  • Manage the elevator reservation
  • Send weekly “move in announcements” to the team
  • Provide Residents with all necessary documentation, keys, and system access prior to the move in inspection
  • Place the move in gift in the apartment the day prior to move in
  • Walk the apartment 3-4 days prior to note areas that still need to be addressed by the maintenance team. Create service tickets as necessary
  • Assist management in building positive relations with Residents
  • Follow-up with Residents after the initial move-in to discuss the experience

*Management reserves the right to modify, add, or reassign duties based on operational needs.

Schedule: must be able to work 5 out of 7 days per week, TBD

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years’ experience in guest services, property management, hospitality, or related professional area
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Yardi is a plus
  • Problem-solving experience is a plus

US work authorization is required.
