We are looking for a Mould Optimization Engineer to take part of our Billund based team within the MA&O Development team. We are a part of the MA&Q organization, who works globally on the different productions sits.

Core Responsibilities:
Supports standardization of new Moulds and continuous improvement of current Mouldsthrough a hands-on approach.
Providestechnical inputs for development, design and construction of Moulds in collaboration with suppliers (project technical lead) Support technical development and capability building embracing new technology in relation to existing processing platforms Design, develop, and test new equipment in line with current standards and guidelines.
Support the technical project management execution withmouldsengineer inputs Ensure newMouldsmeets performance criteria: safe operation, high quality, stability, satisfactory output, and acceptable cost
Can participate in implementation of future setups of global flows to potential new factories
Do you have what it takes?
Relevant education withinMoulds/Injection Moulds
Apply solid specialist knowledge within the area ofMouldsengineering
Proficiency inMoulddesign principles, includingknowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle management
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to perform calculations, simulations, and analyses related to mechanical systems and components (e.g., stress analysis, thermal analysis)
Basic Project Management: Familiarity with project management principles to assist in planning, executing, and monitoring engineering projects
Adhere to all project management rules and relevant norms, directives, and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) requirements
Understanding of Industry Standards: Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, ISO) to ensure compliance in design andmanufacturing processes. Cost Awareness: Basic understanding of budgeting and cost estimation to contribute to project planning and resource allocation
Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to team members, stakeholders, and clients
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and develop effective solutions in mechanical systems and processes
