This is a rare opportunity to advance mould engineering in a global manufacturing organisation. In this senior technical role, you'll set standards, guide supplier strategy, and apply best practices from leading engineering fields while assisting production across multiple continents. Your work will shape how Vestas designs, develops, and scales its manufacturing capabilities for years to come.
Vestas is establishing a process-focused engineering organization that embeds technical know-how directly into manufacturing. The organization consists of process teams within Layup, Infusion, Bonding, Handling & Logistics, Finish & Paint, Root Systems, and a Center of Competence for Mould Engineering, all focused on improving manufacturing excellence, standardization, and continuous improvement.
Our goal is to set new industry benchmarks in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) by developing robust, scalable, and high-performing manufacturing processes that support both current and future blade technologies.
As a Mould Tooling Engineer Senior Specialist, you will serve as a global subject matter specialist for mould tooling within Vestas Blades Manufacturing. You will establish the technical direction, strategy, and standardization of mould tooling solutions across our global manufacturing network.
You will oversee the development of new tooling concepts, contribute to manufacturing technology roadmaps, and ensure mould tooling solutions deliver consistent process capability, reliability, safety, and operational performance. Working closely with Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Suppliers, and Factory Operations, you will play a key role in advancing blade manufacturing.
You are seen as a trusted technical leader who blends deep engineering knowledge with strategic thinking. You effectively engage stakeholders without formal authority and build collaborative relationships across functions, cultures, and regions.
Become part of a worldwide engineering team leading innovation in renewable energy manufacturing. In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of blade manufacturing, establish international mold engineering standards, and advance technologies that reinforce Vestas' leadership in sustainable energy.
You will have a rare opportunity to help guide manufacturing strategy, advance next-generation tooling technologies, and build a lasting technical legacy across our global production network.
