Pirelli Motorsport Services Ltd, one of the leading international tyre manufacturers, currently have an opportunity for an experienced Motorsport Planning & Warehouse Manager to join the busy team in Didcot, Oxfordshire. The successful individual will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the planning and the warehouse facility.

Working within our successful team and reporting to the Logistics Manager, the role will include:
Managing personnel, warehouse layout and tyre equipment planning to ensure maximum space utilization and efficiencies.
The day-to-day management of a team of direct reports ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet the volume of work/activity.
Warehouse management including the overall control and responsibility for the movement and records of inventory, including tyres, materials and equipment in and out of the facility in line with company procedures.
To assist in the production of planned maintenance programs and schedules to ensure equipment is maintained in safe and reliable condition ensuring optimum efficiency.
To organise and manage the maintenance of the vehicle fleet including servicing and MOT’s.
To supervise preparation and completion of shipments for loading and unloading.
To assist the Property Manager with building maintenance
Health and Safety management and reporting
Essential Criteria
Extensive warehouse management and computer systems.
Driving Licence.
FLT licence.
Excellent organisational skills, able to multitask and prioritise at busy times.
Leadership skills and management.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational and logistic skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Problem solving.
Team orientated.
Strong knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
As the position involves a significant amount of planning and coordination, you must be self-motivated and be able to motivate others, ensuring operational excellence in the warehouse.
