MOTORRAD - LOGISTICS TRAINE

BMW MEXICO

TheLogistics Trainee supports the Sales, Aftersales, and Distribution teams for BMW Motorrad in managing motorcycle inventory, optimizing distribution workflows, and automating key reporting analytics. In this role, you will assist in tracking stock history, executing promotional and bonus calculations. You'll be working closely with internal stakeholders including Sales, Product & Price, Marketing and Aftersales, as well as providing direct operational support. Ultimately, you will play a key role in enhancing supply chain visibility, supporting dealer management and driving process automation across the local Motorrad business.

WHAT AWAITS YOU?

  • Monitor and consolidate BMW Motorrad motorcycle inventory, supporting warehouse entry tracking, wholesale/retail closing updates, and container logistics.

  • Maintain and enhance dynamic Power BI dashboards and Python scripts to analyze sales performance, stock status, marketing funds, and warranty metrics.

  • Calculate promotions, tactical campaigns, and bonus payouts, creating purchase orders and resolving dealer inquiries regarding payments, invoice downloads, and system visibility.

  • Reconcile data between SAP, IVSR, and external tools, automating container tracking and report consolidation to drive operational efficiency.

  • Assist in remarketing unit sales processes, and coordinate demo unit authorization and release cut-offs.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING ALONG?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Supply Chain, Systems, Mechatronics) or related technical field.

  • Up to 1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations within the automotive/motorcycle industry, preferably with exposure to dealer network operations (internships and academic project experience are highly valued).

  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI. Hands-on familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python) for data automation and basic knowledge of SAP.

  • Solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals, inventory reconciliation, reporting frameworks, and sales data tracking.

  • High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and a service-oriented mindset to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external dealer partners.

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English.
