Job Description

To provide reliable and efficient transportation services, with safety as a top priority, for employees, visitors, company assets, documents, and goods, supporting business activities, field operations, and other company-related needs, while ensuring compliance with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent in professional work experience,

Experience

• 3 Years of experience of driving experience.
• Valid Professional driving license appropriate for the vehicle (CE)
• Public services endorsed on the driving license (G)
• Ability to communicate effectively in english (verbal and written).
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage

Responsabilities

• Drive company vehicles safely, responsibly, and in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Transport employees, visitors, clients, contractors, company assets, documents, materials, and goods as required.
• Provide transportation support to administrative functions, field activities, and operational requirements, ensuring the timely movement of personnel, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure punctuality and reliability in all scheduled trips and assignments.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to optimize travel time, fuel consumption, and operational effectiveness.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after use to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
• Maintain the cleanliness, basic upkeep, and overall good condition of assigned vehicles.
• Monitor fuel, oil, coolant, tyre pressure, and other essential vehicle requirements.
• Report immediately any accidents, incidents, breakdowns, defects, or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, servicing, and other required logs.
• Ensure the safe handling and transportation of passengers, company assets, documents, materials, and goods at all times.
• Verify that all vehicle documentation, licenses, insurance, and inspection certificates remain valid and up to date.
• Support administrative duties, including the delivery and collection of documents, correspondence, and other company items when required.
• Comply with all Health & Safety, Quality & Enviroment procedures and report any identified risks or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding company information, personnel matters, and any sensitive information encountered during the performance of duties.
• Carry any other duties as instructed by management that may be deemed appropriate and within our capabilities.
