JOB OVERVIEW Our client, an established motor dealership in eMalahleni (Witbank), is seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join its workshop team. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, service and maintain customer vehicles to manufacturer standards, while delivering a high level of workmanship, productivity and customer satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform vehicle servicing and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications. • Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment. • Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, braking and electrical systems. • Complete job cards accurately and ensure all work performed is properly documented. • Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements. • Ensure compliance with workshop health and safety procedures. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. • Meet workshop productivity and efficiency targets. • Provide technical support and feedback to the Service Manager when required. Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Grade 12 (Matric). • Qualified Motor Mechanic – Red Seal Trade Certificate. • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ post-qualification workshop experience. • Valid South African driver’s licence. • Experience with manufacturer diagnostic tools and automotive repair procedures. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
