About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Motor Surveyor to join a dynamic claims team within a leading UAE insurance environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting motor vehicle inspections, assessing damages, and supporting efficient claims resolution across a high-volume portfolio.
This role requires strong technical expertise in UAE motor surveying, with experience handling fleet, agency, and garage-related claims. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware, and capable of managing a fast-paced workload while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Inspection & Damage Assessment
- Conduct detailed inspections of damaged vehicles and assess repair requirements accurately.
- Prepare technical survey reports, repair estimates, and recommendations in line with company standards.
Fleet & Commercial Claims Handling
- Manage fleet-related motor assessments and support efficient claims processing for commercial accounts.
- Liaise with fleet operators, workshops, and internal claims teams to ensure timely resolutions.
Garage & Agency Coordination
- Work closely with approved garages, repair centres, and agency workshops regarding repairs and assessments.
- Monitor repair quality, timelines, and cost controls to ensure operational efficiency.
High-Volume Claims Management
- Handle a large daily caseload of approximately 50 claims while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Prioritise workloads effectively to meet turnaround times and service level expectations.
Technical & Claims Support
- Support claims handlers with technical guidance on liability, repair methodology, and settlement decisions.
- Identify suspicious or inflated repair estimates and escalate concerns where necessary.
Compliance & Operational Standards
- Ensure all surveying activities comply with UAE insurance regulations and internal governance standards.
- Maintain accurate digital records, reports, and supporting documentation within claims systems.
Education & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of UAE motor surveying experience within a recognised insurance company or claims environment.
- Strong exposure to motor claims operations, including fleet, agency, and garage claims handling.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads within fast-paced operational environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repairs, damage assessment, and repair costing.
- Familiarity with digital claims and surveying platforms is highly desirable.
