Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Motor Coach Driver transports the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma tour busses to fulfill the transportation needs of the Tribal Elders and multiple Tribal Departments and Organizations being mindful to observe state and city speed and safety regulations and company customer service and safety policies. You will report to the Fleet Maintenance Shop Manager.
Primary Tasks:
1. You will transport designated vehicle to transport passengers and luggage. Follow route as directed through an itinerary or established routes and timelines.
2. Conduct DOT Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections of vehicle to observe any visual defects. Report findings immediately if serious defect is found.
3. Ensure the bus is clean and presentable to the public.
4. Keep passengers informed of possible delays and addressing passenger complaints.
5. You will ensure passengers ride safely. Accounting for all passengers and recording no shows.
6. Assist customers when exiting or entering the vehicle.
7. Load/unload passenger luggage or cargo.
8. Submit electronic logs and reports.
9. Overnight trips are probable.
10. You will maintain copies of passenger manifests, fuel, and hotel receipts.
11. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED
· Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) with airbrake and passenger endorsement.
· Valid CDL medical certificate (health card).
· At least 25 years of age
· Clean driving record (no serious violations).
· Working knowledge of DOT regulations as about passenger transportation and safety.
· Two (2) years’ motorcoach experience.
