As a Rotating Equipment engineering intern, you’ll be a member of an operating area production team that works within a cross a functional team to address both tactical and strategic reliability improvement items. This group is fascinated with defects, learning why they occur, developing or modifying practices that prevent future defects, and applying our learning's to similar equipment. Production Technical Support:
As a PTSE intern, you will provide coordination within Refinery Production Areas through project management, problem solving, small project execution, threat identification and risk assessment, engineering support to operations and maintenance, and turnaround support. The goal of this internship is to help you develop technical expertise in Static Equipment, Piping Systems, Pressure Vessels, Materials and Corrosion, and associated inspection techniques. This role interfaces with Engineers, Operators, and Maintenance Personnel. Key Responsibilities may include:
