Job Description

Schedule: Hiring for 1st and 3rd Shifts

  • 1st shift is from approximately 7 am to 3 pm with a starting pay rate of $16.90/hour.
  • 3rd shift is from approximately 10 pm to 6 am with a starting pay rate of $18.40/hour.
  • Must be willing to work the assigned shift and accommodate overtime, weekends, holidays, and schedule changes as business and production needs require.

The Distribution Center General Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse and distribution duties to support daily operations. This position helps ensure products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Stack, load and unload dirty tubs and lids into tub wash machine.
  • Unstack, load and unload dirty pallets into pallet wash machine.
  • Stretch-wrap pallets loaded with clean plastic tubs and lids.
  • Load, unload, move, and organize products, materials, and supplies.
  • Assist with receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products.
  • Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies or quality concerns.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the distribution center.
  • Assist with staging orders and preparing shipments for delivery.
  • All other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Constantly stand and/or walk throughout shift.
  • Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
  • Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
  • Exposure to damp, wet and cold environments.
  • Regularly lift 25+ lbs.
  • Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
