What We Do

As our Mortgage Servicing Program Lead, you’ll be the operational coordinator and heartbeat behind our private securitization transactions. You’ll bridge the gap between servicing operations, legal teams, clients, and counterparties assuring that every agreement, transaction, and process related to these deals is executed flawlessly. Your work will directly influence the efficiency, compliance, and profitability of our clients’ securitization portfolios, while helping us pioneer new ways to work together across departments.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate all servicing-related activities for critical deals including private securitizations, whole loan private investors with unique servicing requirements, and excess servicing spreads - from initial transaction notice from clients through post-closing of each deal.
  • Create and manage reporting of deal activities and assist in the development of any custom required reporting.
  • Message all communications related to this program to clients as we do today across Client Relations for products and programs we leverage across ServiceMac
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal servicing teams, legal counsel, clients, investors, and counterparties to ensure alignment on deal requirements.
  • When warranted, procure external counterparties to review, interpret, and operationalize securitization agreements, servicing agreements (PSAs), and related transaction documents.
  • Develop and implement new servicing processes to support unique deal structures, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements. (including creating the workflow and determining additional costs where necessary).
  • Create SLAs for all parties and then track and manage key deliverables, timelines, and reporting obligations for each transaction. Also includes several times per year conducting quality control checks against our processes for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify process gaps and propose enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in deal execution.
  • Support audits, investor requests, and due diligence activities related to securitized portfolios.
  • Ability to handle client-facing meetings (including a kick-off call upon initial notification of deal), manage expectations with clients, and work closely with the assigned Account Executive.
  • Coordinate with key internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of required bank account setups, investor header configurations, and other Investor Reporting requirements necessary to support new deals.
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee a centralized repository of deal-specific requirements, structured to enable efficient tracking, reference, and reporting by client and deal.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, investor reporting, project management, finance, with direct exposure to securitizations or complex loan transactions.
  • Understanding of Servicing Capital Markets and ability to face off with representatives from those teams with our clients involved in this program
  • Strong understanding of pooling (such as GSE pool structures and remittance types) and servicing agreements, investor reporting requirements, and servicing operations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to translate legal/contractual language into actionable operational steps.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a knack for building processes from the ground up.

Pay Range: $102,175 - $136,200 annually

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
