Mortgage Sales Manager
Greater Phoenix Metro, Arizona • Mortgage Sales • Full-time

We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of full-time Mortgage Sales Manager based in the Greater Phoenix Metro area of Arizona This role is key to our success, and performance metrics are measured quarterly. A successful Mortgage Sales Leader typically develops 35–40 qualified applications each month, closes 15+ loans per month, or produces $15,000,000 in new monthly loan volume.

This individual will develop leads and originate mortgage loans through branches, realtors, and builders, and respond to referrals from internal teams and partners. Candidates should have a strong understanding of mortgage regulations and processes, as well as other financial products and services, in order to deepen customer relationships.

Compensation: Competitive base salary depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, lead, and originate mortgage loans through branches, realtors, and builders

• Motivate direct-report sales team to achieve production milestones

• Collaborate with operations and department leaders to ensure smooth processes

• Manage a team of MLOs, ensuring sales goals and key metrics are met

• Identify and implement strategies to drive loan volume and grow market share

• Take and process loan applications

• Respond to referrals and coordinate with loan processors

• Support information gathering as needed for underwriting

• Cross-sell additional financial products and services

• Maintain compliance with all industry laws, regulations, and internal policies

Preferred Education / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; MBA or Master's preferred

• 5+ years of lending experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment

• Composure under pressure and in high-stakes situations

• Compensation is dependent on experience, skills, and qualifications
