A Brief Overview

Responsible to organize, analyze and reviewall files formortgage loans applications. Responsible to verify that all required documents are included on customer's file andfulfill with loan requirements in order to supportthe underwriter for evaluation process.Keeps customer informed/updated on loan application status.

Accountable for adhering to the Bank’s BSA, AML and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFCA)applicable policies. Employee must follow specific unit procedures developed in compliance with the policies. Employee is also responsible for reporting any suspicious activity and/or transactions in accordance with the Bank’s processes and comply with any mandatory BSA, AML and OFAC training assigned.

What you’ll do

• • Review/organize customer loan application file received from Marketing area.
• • Verify customer’s offer information given/provided by Marketing area.
• • Before deliver case to underwriter for evaluation, ensure that documents required for loan application are included and corresponds to loan type requested.
• • On new customer application, responsible for mailing process of welcome notification.
• • Keeps updated/informed customers on loan evaluation process.
• • Customer credit report analysis/verification/interpretation, including payment history. If needed, additional information is required.
• • Performs/executes the following verifications to the concerning institutions: employment verification, income statement, banking balance account (DDA) .
• • Income Statement analysis. (income/expenses)
• • Appraisals analysis/revision.
• • Process Mortgage Ware system data entry.
• • Refers case to underwriter for final approval.
• • Keeps customer informed on loan application final decision. Inform customers on transaction relevant aspects as offer, monthly payments, leftover or payment, or either re-negotiate terms/conditions of approvals.
• • Delivers approved cases to Closing Unit for final loan closing.
• • By phone or either mailing, f/up cases where documents are pending for delivery.
• • Receives telephone calls from either customer and providers.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Education

• · Associate Degreeis required for this position

Knowledge & Experience

• · 3 – 5 years of related experience on the mortgage industry is required for this position.

• · Must be fully bilingual (Spanish/English)
