This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our South Charlotte, NC Headquarters (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week.
We are seeking a deadline-focused, inquisitive, and highly accountable Mortgage Lending Operations Manager to serve as our Qualified Individual (QI) and lead the end-to-end oversight of our mortgage brokering operation. This is a high-visibility role within our Commercial division, reporting to the Head of Client Success. You will be the primary architect of our "First Line of Defense" governance model, ensuring that as we move deeper into broker functions, our technology, marketing, and partnerships remain in lock-step with the highest regulatory standards—particularly as we expand our operations in the New York market.
An active New York MLO license is preferred; however, if not currently held, you must be eligible to obtain licensure and be approved as the QI by the NYDFS concurrently with our entity registration. Your continued tenure in this role is dependent upon your ability to support Bankrate in obtaining and maintaining this registration.
