Job Description


Project Monitoring, Evaluation
and Research Support


  • Support the design and implementation of the project’s Monitoring,
    Evaluation and Learning (MEL) activities

  • Develop relevant formats and attend to data collection and monitor
    project indicators in line with the project results framework

  • Monitor project progress and document project results against agreed
    targets

  • Support baseline assessments, surveys, evaluations, and ongoing
    monitoring activities

  • Ensure data quality and compliance with established standards and
    procedures

  • Synthesize findings and prepare reports, presentations, briefs, and
    other knowledge products

  • Provide capacity building to project staff and partners on MEL
    concepts, tools, and systems as required


Project Coordination and
Reporting Support


Assist the project manager
and research team when required to:


  • Support the development and updating of project work plans and
    implementation schedules

  • Coordinate and communicate key findings, lessons learned, and
    performance insights to the wider project team

  • Contribute to the preparation of work plans, progress reports,
    financial reports, and other project documents

  • Making presentations at project review meetings, workshops, and
    stakeholder consultations


Office and Operations Support


Assist the country director
by:


  • Supporting the coordination and implementation of Landscape Alliance
    projects in Sri Lanka

  • Maintaining programme-related records, databases, and filing systems

  • Liaising with internal teams, formal communications with project
    partners, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and
    timely programme execution

  • Providing logistical support for project-related activities; workshops,
    training sessions, stakeholder meetings, and field visits

  • Maintenance and updating of the data repository

  • Performing other tasks assigned by the Country Director
