BASIC PURPOSE: Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of others within a rewarding field while gaining valuable skills and building your career? Under the supervision of a Program Supervisor, Monitors are responsible for collecting urinalysis samples from both our Safe Visitation and Tracking program clients, as well as Winona County Treatment Court participants. Additional responsibilities include ensuring a safe and structured environment during family visits by observing and documenting interactions and enforcing program guidelines. This position offers extremely flexible scheduling, making it ideal for students balancing coursework and other commitments. This position typically starts at the mid wage range which can vary based on education and experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ENVIRONMENT:
Education, Training & Work
Experience: High School diploma or GED required. A bachelor’s degree or associates degree in human services or a related field (pursing degree is acceptable). Relevant experience may compensate for education. Monitors MUST be 20 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license. Ability to work effectively and non-defensively with a variety of personalities. As well as being aware of and sensitive to the diversity of clients, co- workers, and other persons in the performance of the job duties.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills: Training or experience working with domestic violence cases and child protection cases (not required but preferred). Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Work is performed in a variety of settings, indoor and outdoor and employee will be required to lift children. Will be sitting and/or standing for long periods of time.
