Position Title: Moncler | Fashion Boutique Retail Assistant

Location: Niseko, Japan

Reports to: Moncler Store Manager
Contract Term: Exact dates TBC - October/November, 2026 - April 2027
Salary ¥1,700 per hour, starting + commission scheme

Moncler Niseko is one of only three stores in the world dedicated exclusively to the Grenoble collection.

The Role

As a Retail Assistant at Moncler, you will be a key part of the boutique team, delivering an elevated customer experience aligned with the brand’s luxury standards. Your role will focus on assisting clients in selecting high-end fashion and outerwear, offering personalised styling advice, and sharing detailed product knowledge. You will support day-to-day boutique operations and maintain an elegant, organised, and welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Customer Service:Provide expert advice and personalized assistance to customers in selecting luxury clothing, including ski and snowboard wear, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.
  • Sales Operations:Process sales transactions accurately and maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment in line with brand standards.
  • Team Collaboration:Work closely with team members to achieve store goals.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Strong customer service skills, and confidence in communicating with a wide range of people
  • Previous experience in retail, especially in ski/snowboard, outdoor gear, or luxury service industries, is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and pride in keeping things clean and organized
  • Ability to stay calm and focused when things get busy
  • Extra languages (Chinese, Japanese, Thai) will give you an advantage at work, but are not mandatory.
