Roles & Responsibilities
This position is for a Molecular Lab Application Specialist who will use their expertise in real-time PCR, nucleic acid preparation and sequencing technologies to support the Molecular Lab products. Your primary goal is to drive customer satisfaction and provide service and support related to Roche Molecular Lab products and instruments.
In addition, as a Roche Molecular Lab application specialist, he/she also provides services such as evaluation, education, and problem solving for products in the IVD market (virology, transplant, HPV, etc.) and the RUO market (digital PCR, qPCR, etc.)
1. Provide application service for users after installation of Roche Molecular Lab instruments and products.
Set Instrument and Item according to customer’s needs
Perform the evaluation & report
Conduct on-site operator training
2. Customers care and complaint handling
Respond to customer queries in a timely manner by visit or phone, email
Solve application / product problems promptly and completely.
Data claim and issue solving
Troubleshooting when an error occurs
3. Training for customers and distributors
User Seminar / training
Regular distributor staff training
4. Maintain/update product information promptly.
Instrument manual, package insert, product materials
Training materials
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Life/Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline is required.
At least 2 years of customer service experience in the molecular IVD market or biotechnology or life science industry.
Good in English (especially in Writing and Reading)
Experience with molecular lab procedures, such as real time PCR, nucleic acid preparation and sequencing is preferred.
Customer Orientation & Relationship Management
Experience in various diagnostic fields, including Biochemistry, Immunology, and Pathology, is preferred.
