Regal Boats is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Mold Repair Specialist. Lamination Mold Repair Specialists are responsible for meticulously inspecting and enhancing molds within the lamination department, ensuring optimal performance for critical shipbuilding processes. Successful candidates will execute precise repairs, implement preventive maintenance strategies tailored for lamination, and collaborate seamlessly with production teams to maintain smooth schedules. Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct inspections of molds used in the lamination department, identifying areas for repair, modification, or improvement to ensure optimal performance in the lamination process.
2. Execute precise repairs using advanced techniques, contributing to the enhancement of mold functionality and longevity, specifically tailored for lamination procedures.
3. Implement preventive maintenance strategies to proactively address potential defects and extend the lifespan of molds utilized in lamination.
4. Collaborate seamlessly with the lamination production teams, providing timely support to maintain smooth production schedules in this critical department.
5. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all mold-related activities, including repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance within the lamination context.

Required Qualifications

1. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on mold repair experience within the shipbuilding industry, with a focus on molds used in the lamination department.
2. Proficiency in precision repair techniques and preventive maintenance tailored for lamination processes.
   
   

Preferred Qualifications

1. Possession of relevant certifications in mold repair or a related field, showcasing a commitment to ongoing professional development.
2. Strong collaboration skills and a proven track record of effective teamwork with lamination production teams to address mold-related issues.
3. Familiarity with industry best practices for documentation, ensuring accurate and thorough records of mold repair and maintenance activities in the lamination department.

Work Environment
Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature, reaching over 100 degrees Fahrenheit at times.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time. The employee is frequently required to climb into and out of the boats using stairs. The employee must frequently be able to lift 50 pounds, work 10-hour days with most of the time being on their feet, and work overtime, whether planned or unplanned.
