Shift

Opening is for 3rd shift, but need to be able to work any shift an overtime.

Wage Information

$77,230.40 - $88,254.40

Job Purpose

Assure Molds produce quality parts through:

Preventative maintenance, maturation, repair, tuning, and daily troubleshooting.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work on daily activities as assigned by the Team Leader.
  • Respond to equipment / mold downtime and recovery issues.
  • Monitor equipment / mold for potential problems identification
  • Perform quality & running efficiency improvements to the mold / tooling.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance plans & activities.
  • Perform all phases of equipment troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain Clean Up, Organize, Pick up (COP) of work area and department issued tools.
  • Observe and promote all department safety policies.
  • Quality confirmation of completed work.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

  • Minimum of three months experience in the mechanical and/or die mold maintenance field (including Co-op experience) preferred.

Other Job-Specific Skills

  • Application of engineering and manufacturing principles
  • In-Depth understanding of manufacturing processes. (Assembly, Paint, Weld, Stamping, Plastics)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic 2D and 3D CAD tools.
  • Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively both with customers and internal project teams.
  • Business acumen in a technical environment

Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing environment
  • Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift long term.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, daily overtime, and off shifts as needed, sometimes on short notice.
  • Shop environment, welding, grinding, handwork on plastic mold(s) and tooling.
