Tech Change Enablement: Modernization Value Delivery Lead
Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for the Firm supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of the Firm's software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications. ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of our employees. Application and end user services are delivered on a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter, network, compute, cloud, storage, and database services.
Role sitting within the Technology Change Enablement Team comprised of:
1) Operational Change Enablement provisioning oversight and education on Change Enablement practices, enforcing adherence to Change process requirements, KPI management and monitoring performance, tooling representation and communication, Regulatory and Audit response, facilitating Change Advisory Board meetings where appropriate, investigating Change Related Incidents and defining the Operational Change Enablement strategy for Technology globally
2) Supervision Change Management provisioning Critical rated asset supervisory control evidencing and extension across users with privileged access, offering centralized evidencing of controls across Infrastructure and the wider supervisory strategy
Primary Responsibility
The Technology Change Enablement team is delivering on several modernization and risk reduction deliveries which require stakeholder management, co-ordination, prioritization and oversight. Key responsibilities include:
> Drive delivery of Tech Change Enablement modernization initiatives from planning through execution
> Own delivery governance, dependencies, risks, milestones and outcome tracking across Operational Change Management, PA Change Supervision and Prevent and Detect functions
o Develop and maintain a modernization roadmap aligned to strategic priorities, delivery capacity and risk reduction goals
o Facilitate prioritization and sequencing decisions across competing demands
o Manage dependencies, delivery plans and critical path risks across initiatives
o Provide clear, data-driven reporting on progress, risks, blockers and value realization
> Build and manage the value roadmap ensuring initiatives deliver measurable operational, risk reduction and business value outcomes
> Bridge the gap between complex policy, process and engineering deliveries to support the creation of value for the business
> Use organizational and technical skills to accelerate the speed of innovation and modernization for Change Enablement
> Lead cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Risk and Change stakeholders
> Create the conditions for effective collaboration across Application Infrastructure, the ITSM Migration Program and Tech Change teams
> Identify, manage and escalate technical, operational, organizational and cultural bottlenecks, supporting reduced friction in delivery
> Track, mitigate and escalate technical constraints, delivery risks, technical debt and blockers
> Implement structured feedback loops to ensure Tech Change Enablement has data on organizational readiness and reactions to new processes
> Develop and present trade-off analysis to enable informed decision-making across Architecture, Modernization and ETS leadership
> Apply modern project management practices to improve delivery discipline, visibility and accountability
> Partner with stakeholders to ensure modernization outcomes translate into operational efficiency, control improvement and user adoption Essential criteria
1. experience managing complex cross-functional change or modernization initiatives
2. strong risk, dependency and issue management capability
3. ability to influence senior stakeholders and work across technical/non-technical teams
4. ability to translate strategic goals into delivery plans and measurable outcomes
5. strong analytical and data-driven decision support skills
6. experience with governance, executive reporting and structured delivery management
Desirable criteria
1. ITIL v3/4 foundation or above
2. Previous experience of IT at a Financial Services organization
3. Good working knowledge of MS Office, JIRA, Jive
