We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Tech SME
End User Services enables HSBC staff and systems to operate and communicate every day and the Workspace Platform team engineers the products that power our desktops, laptops and virtual workplace. This Associate Director role sits in the Endpoint Management domain and shapes how we manage and secure devices across HSBC’s global Windows estate. The focus is the shift from traditional endpoint management to a modern, cloud-first model using Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID and Zero Trust principles. You’ll set technical direction, govern architecture and oversee delivery across endpoint management, security, application delivery and device lifecycle management. Success means secure, scalable and user-centric services with strong operational governance and clear standards that work across regions and teams. You’ll partner closely with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Networking, Architecture and Business stakeholders in a regulated global environment.
This role gives you the scope to shape how endpoint services are engineered and operated across HSBC globally. You’ll set standards that improve security posture, simplify lifecycle management and enhance the day-to-day experience for colleagues. The work spans strategy, architecture and operational delivery with close partnership across Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Networking and Business teams.
