He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Join our Catchment Modelling team as a Modelling Specialist and apply your hydraulic and hydrological modelling expertise to support stormwater network planning, flood risk assessment, and infrastructure design across Tāmaki Makaurau. With two positions available, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team with an established core modelling function that underpins critical decision-making across the Healthy Waters & Flood Resilience department.
You’ll help develop, manage, and quality‑assure network and flood hazard models so decision‑makers can rely on accurate, fit‑for‑purpose insights. Working within the Healthy Waters & Flood Resilience department, you’ll collaborate across a multidisciplinary network planning environment, contribute to on-going improvement of modelling methodologies and data practices.
