
Eaton’s ES AMER HQ MFGSC division is currently seeking a MOD - Material Handler II (Spider)-1st Shift at our Duncan, SC location! The core hours are Monday - Friday, 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 per hour.

The MOD-Material Handler (Spider) moves material throughout the Modification and Distribution Center via receiving, re-stocking, picking, packing, shipping to enable the Mod Center to process customer orders.
In this function, you will:
• Retrieve appropriate styles & quantities of material from warehouse locations using appropriate picking process. Place materials in containers, visually inspecting product, verifying with scanning equipment if required, verify accuracy of product count. Utilizing same skills restock/replenish.
• Operates reach truck, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment in the execution of duties. Ensures safety guidelines are met in operating the equipment.
• Stage and re-stock all supplies, pallets, carts and boxes of materials in appropriate areas of the Mod Center workstations.
• Track and replenish all material needed to support the team in daily operations. Verify styles and quantities of materials that need to be ordered to support this process and alert Lead or Supervisor.
• Visually inspect products and shipping paperwork for outbound shipment compliance.
• Induct/ship outbound Mod Center orders through Manhattan system.
• Place packing lists, content labels and shipping labels where appropriate.
• Place adequate banding and wrapping material for all outbound pallet shipments and or cartons.
• Resolve discrepancies. Research all possible solutions to ensure order is accurate.
• Follow written and oral instructions. Adhere to all company policies and procedures including practice of good housekeeping.
• Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts and perform work of equal of lower classification if necessary.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
• Continuous standing, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling.
• Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED(General Education Degree) from accredited institution
• Prior forklift and/or order picker operation experience
• No relocation benefits are being offered for this posittion. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Duncan, SC will or that are Active-Duty Military Service members will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
• One year of experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment
• Must be able to work specific shift hours and have flexibility to work overtime based on customer demand.
