ASRC Federal Systems Solutions (AFSS) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented MOC Analyst Intern to join our team for an internship opportunity. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position is part-time (32-hours / week)
As an Analyst Intern, you will work closely with the existing MOC Lead and the entire team, providing exceptional customer service to our government customer. You will communicate directly with Space Force operations personnel and technicians while documenting and reporting on critical mission systems updates and information. This is a valuable opportunity to enhance your skills, expand your professional network, and gain insight into the inner workings of a leading Defense Contracting company
Responsible for providing telephone or e-mail response to calls from various mission systems stakeholders during established duty hours; capturing information and updates accurately; documenting mission and support systems incidents and outages accurately in the government database(s); responding to all correspondence with professionalism; and providing exceptional customer service.
The MOC Analyst Intern will:
• Answer telephone calls and respond to emails
• Handle customer inquiries both telephonically and by email
• Capture information from callers accurately
• Analyze incident and outage information to determine proper course of action
• Provide notifications on outages, logistics information, and status changes to mission systems owners and stakeholders

Responsibilities:
• Provide frontline point of contact customer service for mission and support systems owners reporting incidents and outages
• Provide monitoring of government email systems and telephones during duty hours in order to ensure up-channel and status reporting requirements are met
• Document information in appropriate databases and systems
• Research open outages and incidents and provide status updates to customers upon request

Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma
• Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university

Clearance Requirements:
• Active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one
