Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Understanding of common medical terminology, anatomy and physiology Takes initiative to complete work and meets productivity standards. Customer service skills. Follow directions as communicated in a variety of ways. Knowledge of Infection Control and Injury Prevention theories and strategies Learns quickly and through multiple channels. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Basic math skills, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Organizational skills.

Requires occasional exposure to bio-hazardous conditions such as risk of radiation exposure, blood borne pathogens, fumes or airborne particles, and/or toxic or caustic chemicals which mandate attention to safety considerations, occasional working hours significantly beyond regularly scheduled hours, occasional traveling to off site locations, occasional activities subject to significant volume changes of a seasonal/ clinical nature, frequent bending, occasional lifting and carrying more than 100 pounds, occasional crawling, frequent crouching/stooping, frequent kneeling, frequent pushing/pulling, constant reaching, occasional sitting, constant standing, frequent twisting, and constant walking. (occasional-up to 20%, frequent-from 21% to 50%, constant-51% or more)
