Reporting to the Regional Mobility Lead and working as part of the Global Mobility team, the Mobility Specialist provides end-to-end international and domestic mobility support for the Middle East region, with a primary focus on Saudi Arabia.
This role delivers a comprehensive, high-quality mobility experience across all stages of the assignment lifecycle, offering expert guidance on relocation, immigration, employment structure, and compliance. The position is responsible for the successful delivery of Saudi Arabia mobility activities in close collaboration with HR, Shared Services, and business stakeholders, while ensuring alignment with Hatch workforce and Saudization objectives.
As a key contributor within the wider HR and Mobility function, the Mobility Specialist supports consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement of mobility practices across the AIM (Africa, India, and Middle East) region.
• Oversee and manage end-to-end mobility activities for employees moving into, within, or out of the Middle East, with a specific focus on Saudi Arabia
• Ensure adherence to Hatch Global Mobility guidelines, local labor laws, immigration policies, tax regulations, and employment compliance requirements
• Provide strategic mobility advice to Shared Services teams and Business Leaders, ensuring seamless transitions and a consistent employee experience
• Act as the primary point of contact for assignees, managing all aspects of:
– Immigration and work authorization
– Relocation logistics and service providers
– Compensation structure, payroll coordination, and tax compliance
– Vendor and third-party service provider management
• Partner with HR and business stakeholders to support workforce planning, employment structuring, and mobility-related decision-making
• Ensure accurate data management and reporting within HRIS and mobility systems
• Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of mobility processes, tools, and regional best practices
• Demonstrated experience in Global Mobility and/or HR Operations
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline; Mobility or HR specialty qualification preferred
• Strong working knowledge of the assignment lifecycle, including international and domestic assignments
• Solid understanding of international payroll, immigration processes, tax considerations, and third-party vendor management
• 5–8+ years of experience in Global Mobility or HR Operations, with a strong focus on the Middle East and Saudi Arabia market
• Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Workday or SAP; experience with AssignmentPro is an advantage
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and deliver high-quality service under deadlines
• High emotional intelligence, with the ability to support employees and families through the complexities of international relocation
• Strong understanding of project-based environments and regional business operations
• Proven client-service mindset with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex immigration or mobility challenges efficiently and discreetly
