Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) is recruiting for a Mobility Field Operations Inspector. The primarily responsible for
monitoring the Service Delivery (SD) contractor's compliance regarding the Contract with the MTA for the benefit of Mobility costs.
This position will provide day to day monitoring and guidance across MTA Mobility service, as well as monitor, investigate, and develop solutions to address a variety of operational and administrative issues.
This position primarily engages in the management of observations of the Mobility service, monitoring operators for schedule adherence, for operations compliance to MTA rules and procedures, for delivery of transit service.
This position is tasked with responsibility for the delivery of safe, reliable public transportation, as well as other duties as required/assigned.
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Five years of experience in a transit system and/or transportation operation. *Two (2) years of experience must have been in Field oversight and be familiar with Technology platforms such as trapeze or any other time management/ schedule platforms and incident reporting.

Employees in this classification will be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
