Central New Brunswick Woodlands - JD Irving Ltd., is seeking an experienced Mobile Truck Technician to join our Operations Team

Compensation:

• $35.00 - $40.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

• Responsible for performing maintenance and mechanical repairs on heavy equipment, including log trucks, and trailers (experience working with other heavy equipment is an asset).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to brakes, electrical systems, air systems, hydraulics, etc.
• Conduct inspections and repairs to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Troubleshooting equipment and perform equipment repairs.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure prompt and efficient equipment mobilization.
• Maintain a clean and organized work truck.
• Work with supervisors on various tasks.
• Provide support for onsite safety requirements.
• Some other garage-related activities, as required.
• A company vehicle will be provided with space for tools.
• Work flexible hours as needed to support operational demands.

• Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic certification is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract are essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Experience working on tractor trailers.
