McCarthy Tire Service is seeking a motivated and dependable Mobile Press Technician to join our growing team in Wilmington, NC. No direct experience? No problem. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.

What You'll Do

• Operate a tire press safely and efficiently ( experience preferred).
• Earn additional income through our performance-based bonus program
• Safely operate various types of forklifts.
• Diagnose and identify tire-related issues and work toward timely resolutions.
• Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotating, repairing, and other related services.
• Provide both in-shop and mobile service support for customers.
• Participate in company training programs and follow all safety procedures, company policies, and job requirements.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned, which may include occasional travel and overtime.

What We're Looking For

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with heavy-duty and commercial tires, including mounting and dismounting, is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
• Comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate.
