Job Description

This is a remote position. We are looking for a Mobile Test Automation Engineer to support the quality assurance of mobile applications through hands-on test automation using Appium . The role focuses on developing and maintaining automated mobile test scenarios, executing regression suites, analysing failed tests, and troubleshooting application defects using logs, system responses, and test data. The consultant will work closely with development and technical teams to improve automation coverage, maintain reliable test frameworks, and ensure the quality and stability of mobile applications. Responsibilities • Develop automated mobile application tests using Appium • Create and maintain automated test scenarios • Run existing automated test suites • Analyse and repair failing automated tests • Maintain and develop the selected test automation framework • Perform regression testing • Retest application fixes • Create and execute test cases and scenarios • Prepare test data required for testing • Adapt automated test data creation processes where required • Analyse application and system logs • Analyse incoming and outgoing messages • Verify incoming files and data streams where relevant • Analyse test results and identify potential causes of failures • Register and document defects • Record test results in ALM Quality Center or another tool selected by Polkomtel • Support functional and non-functional testing where required • Work with development and other technical teams to resolve defects • Potentially work within an Agile delivery model Requirements • Commercial mobile test automation experience • Strong practical Appium experience • Experience creating automated tests for mobile applications • Experience maintaining test automation frameworks • Regression test automation experience • Ability to create test cases and scenarios • Experience analysing failed automated tests • Experience troubleshooting application defects • Ability to analyse logs and technical information • Experience preparing test data • Defect reporting and documentation experience • Understanding of software testing processes • Ability to work independently in a remote environment Benefits • Fully remote working model • Solid, competitive salary • Work in a multinational environment on international projects • Comprehensive healthcare • Long-term B2B contract with a stable project pipeline
