Mobile Support Maintenance Person
£39,900 per annum inclusive of car allowance
40 hours per week plus ‘on-call’ duties.
A 24 hour seven-day responsibility is required for our maintenance service, therefore an ‘out of hours on-call’ system is in place, shared with the Facilities Managers and Support Maintenance team. On average, you will be expected to cover the ‘on-call’ rota one week in every five.

Introduction
We’re looking for a proactive and capable Mobile Support Maintenance person to join the team at our Support Centre, Colten House, in Ringwood, with regular travel to our luxury care homes across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and West Sussex
You’ll provide essential cover for routine maintenance services and minor repair work within our care homes. This includes covering monthly tests and inspections on equipment such as fire doors, water temperature outlets, fire extinguishers, security doors, internal and external lighting, wheelchairs, window restrictors, reclining chairs and nursing beds.

About you
You’ll have a genuine passion for your job, with a good general knowledge of building and mechanical services and experience of a trade such as electrical work, carpentry or plumbing. You’ll have an eye for detail, keeping accurate records using our CAFM software and reporting issues or observations to the Facilities Management team.
You’re adept at building lasting relationships with all stakeholders, and you’ll enjoy getting to know and conversing with our residents.
You’re skilled at prioritising tasks, staying calm under pressure and working efficiently using your own initiative.
Essential requirement- Business use on vehicle insurance is essential due to travel during work hours
