Sprinter Van, tools and equipment provided

Monday- Friday - 8:00am- 5:00pm

$25-30 per hour

Lexus of Lubbock, Texas, a Cavender Auto Family Dealership, is currently looking for a talented Mobile Service Technician to join our growing family and help "Make Confidence Happen"

Here is what you will be doing:

• Technology Savvy – will be managing day/tickets on either an iPad/Surface tablet
• Average of 6-8 appointments per day, so staying on schedule will be important since there is travel time between appointments
• Having a professional appearance
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Complete all tasks assigned in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Any other duties as assigned by Management

Here is what you will need:

• Previous experience as a service technician required
• Strong automotive background
• Manufacture ASE certifications preferred but not required
• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license
