Job Description

In order to reach youth who are currently unable to access a Club, the Mobile Clubhouse Experience brings the Club and its services where they are needed most. The mission of the Mobile Clubhouse Experience is simple: Every kid eats. Every kid Learns. Every kid Thrives. The full-time Mobile Program Specialist is responsible for mobile programming, youth program quality, mobile operations, administrative compliance, and safety.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Mobile Programming:

  • Accountable for providing age appropriate services and activities to meet youth needs
  • Accountable for creating a college and workforce culture
  • Accountable for creating atmosphere of academic success
  • Accountable for creating atmosphere of health and fitness

Youth Program Quality:

  • Accountable for fidelity of curriculum
  • Accountable for quality programming and activities
  • Accountable for implementing YPQ techniques

Mobile Operations:

  • Accountable for implementing mobile operations strategies
  • Accountable for performance and achieving goals
  • Accountable for accurate and timely documentation and reporting
  • Accountable for pickup and delivery of mobile vehicles including but limited to van, bus, RV, and truck
  • Accountable for mobile program set up including but not limited to generators, awning, and program supplies/activities
  • Accountable for scouting driving route and parking

Administrative Compliance:

  • Complete all required reports and administrative duties on time.
  • Collect and manage required data and internal and external reporting. Ensure accuracy of data and reporting. Ensure the effective completion of all assessment and measurement activities of programs
  • Accountable for accurate and timely collection and review of membership application
  • Comply with all administrative policies and procedures, processes and controls
  • Accountable for accurate and timely paperwork, reports, and data entry
  • Accountable for utilizing all BGCGTC communication tools regularly and effectively

Requirements

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with youth
  • Experience with mobile operations and/or programming preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to work regular program hours with periodic evenings, nights and weekends
  • Ability to be a positive role model
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
  • Ability to set expectations and boundaries
  • Ability to relate to at-risk youth
  • Ability to facilitate, teach, or instruct
  • Ability to create programs and activities based on need
  • Efficient with computers and Microsoft Office; Knowledge of technology and software such as iPads, tablets, computers, and the internet
  • Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must be able to pass any and all required background screens and drug screens at any time
  • Position requires driving a personal vehicle and a company vehicle. Candidate must have a satisfactory driving record, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties and to be covered under company insurance. The requirement is for the employee to be a minimum of age 21

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CDL
  • Bilingual
  • Previous experience with mobile operations and/or programming
  • Knowledge of a healthy lifestyle, such as nutrition, sports, and exercise
  • Work experience with or program knowledge of the Boys & Girls Club Movement (national and/or local Club) is an advantage

Salary & Benefits:

  • Hourly pay: $17.00
  • Benefits: Medical Insurance, Flex Spending Account, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement with 5% match, Holiday, PTO
