About DocGo

DocGo is leading the proactive healthcare revolution with an innovative care delivery platform that includes mobile health services, population health, remote patient monitoring, and ambulance services. DocGo disrupts the traditional four-wall healthcare system by providing high quality, highly affordable care to patients where and when they need it. DocGo's proprietary, AI-powered technology, logistics network, and dedicated field staff of over 5,000 certified health professionals elevate the quality of patient care and drive efficiencies for municipalities, hospital networks, and health insurance providers. With Mobile Health, DocGo empowers the full promise and potential of telehealth by facilitating healthcare treatment, in tandem with a remote physician, in the comfort of a patient's home or workplace. Together with DocGo's integrated Ambulnz medical transport services, DocGo is bridging the gap between physical and virtual care.

Position Overview:

  • Bring care directly to patients, traveling to their homes each day in a company-provided vehicle — no wear and tear on your own car, no mileage math.
  • Be the hands-on member of the care team in the room: complete patient intake, connect each patient with an Advanced Practice Provider or Physician via telehealth, and perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection as ordered.
  • Own your documentation with confidence, charting in our EMR to the standard set by state regulations and company policy.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing with precision and a steady hand
  • Support in-home visits that close real care gaps for our members — many of whom would otherwise go without
  • Keep your skills sharp through continuing education as required by your state
  • Uphold clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics that keep patients and colleagues safe
  • Meet every patient with cultural humility, respect, and compassion
  • Take on additional duties as the role and our patients require

Qualifications

  • Must hold an active California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPT I) certificate issued by CPDH.
  • Certificate must be current at time of hire.
  • Valid Driver’s License (for at least 2 years) in state of residence with an acceptable driving record
  • Must have minimum 2 years of recent in-person experience as a medical assistant or phlebotomist in an Urgent Care, Primary Care, laboratory, or related setting
  • Active and current American Heart Association BLS
  • Ability to lift & carry 30-40lbs in a backpack style equipment bag
  • Clinical work experience with pediatrics, preferred
  • Fluent bilingual English/Spanish, strongly preferred
