Job Description

Responsibilities

Under the supervisor of the Manager, Warehouse and Transportation, assumes responsibility for ensuring that all mobiles have the required materials, supplies and equipment. Serves as a resource for Mobile Unit Operators for daily packing and acquisition of materials for successful operations. Promotes positive image of CBC to the community.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 am - 10:30 am

Essential Functions:

  • Competently performs all tasks required by Mobile Unit Operators.
  • Maintains equipment required for mobiles to include tracking, packing and unpacking, maintenance, storage and applicable Quality Control (QC).
  • Ensures all needed supplies are packed and ready for use.
  • Assists with loading, unloading and set-up of mobile equipment and supplies.
  • Ensures an adequate number and type of vehicles are assigned.
  • Performs monthly QC of equipment in conjunction with Mobile Packing Supervisor.
  • Obtains various reports from the computer.
  • Complies with all applicable safety policies and procedures.
  • Compliance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) regarding calibration of equipment.
  • Orders, receives, inspects and records critical supplies.
  • Maintains confidentiality of personal information regarding donors and staff.
  • Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
  • Must be able to confidently communicate and interpret intermediate information in English to all members of the public and CBC staff.
  • Must have and maintain a valid MO Class E Driver's License or KS Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Heavy lifting required

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent - Must provide a copy of the transcript.
  • Warehouse and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Prefer at least 6 months experience in blood collections, supervision and FDA, AABB and OSHA regulations.
