Clean Harbors Braslau, Ontario is looking for a Licensed Heavy Duty Mobile Mechanic to join their safety conscious team!

This position will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairing of all company fleet at branch and client locations throughout the area.

  • Complete and follow requirements of Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments.
  • Perform thorough inspections of equipment and identify required repairs.
  • Work independently on customer sites often.
  • Perform routine and specific maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
  • Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.
  • Complete repair orders.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and light and heavy duty vehicles.
  • Communicate equipment servicing needs as required with Supervisor.
  • Complete warranty information.
  • Disassemble, inspect, fit and replace worn or broken parts.
  • Carry out housekeeping duties.
  • Complete required documentation and daily samsara logs in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Licensed/Journeyman Truck and Coach Technician.
  • 3+ years’ experience working as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic.
  • Previous experience working with Hydraulics is an asset.
  • Previous experience working on Vacuum Trucks is an asset.
  • Ability to use (J Pro) diagnostic software
  • Class 5 Driver’s License required.
