Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 16.25 hours per week, Monday - Friday, term time only between the hours of 9:00am – 2:00pm

Worker Type: On-site worker

Salary: Salary is £25,614 - £26,016 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

Location: This role will be predominantly based around schools in the Mansfield and surrounding areas however at times cover around Nottingham City schools will also be required.

About the Role

As a Mobile Kitchen Assistant your main duties will be to assist the Catering Supervisor and existing team with the preparation and serving of school meals and maintaining the cleanliness of the school kitchen and all equipment used. You will be required to travel to various schools to provide cover for sickness and absences.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of good customer care practice.
• Awareness of basic hygiene principles.
• Basic numeracy skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Business use insurance or be willing to obtain.

A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
