Position Summary
This position is responsible for overseeing recruitment, onboarding, orientation, payroll administration, employee relations, workplace investigations, policy implementation, compliance, and daily HR operations. The Mobile HR Director partners with facility leadership to ensure effective workforce management, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and organizational success while serving as a resource to managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle.
Essential Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive human resources support to assigned facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
• Manage and support recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation processes to attract and retain qualified staff.
• Oversee payroll functions, verify payroll accuracy, and resolve employee payroll-related concerns.
• Conduct employee relations investigations, document findings, recommend corrective actions, and support conflict resolution efforts.
• Partner with facility leadership on performance management, employee coaching, corrective action, attendance management, and workforce planning.
• Maintain personnel records, HR documentation, and compliance requirements in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Assist with leave administration, benefits-related support, employee engagement initiatives, and retention strategies.
• Provide guidance and training to managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment best practices.
• Support survey readiness, audits, and special projects while assisting with the daily human resources operations of assigned facilities.
• Travel between facilities as needed to provide operational and HR support.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Experience with payroll, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and workplace investigations.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment.
• Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel between assigned facilities.
