Mobile Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mobile Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in our supply chain by efficiently operating heavy machinery—including knucklebooms, wheel loaders, and front-end loaders—to ensure the seamless movement, processing, and storage of materials. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment standards, ensuring operational safety, and supporting our facility’s daily production goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Material Handling & Logistics: Efficiently load, unload, sort, and transport materials to and from processing areas, railroad cars, trucks, and storage bins.
• Precision Operation: Skillfully operate levers, pedals, and lifting devices to maneuver heavy loads safely and accurately.
• Equipment Maintenance & Care: Perform daily inspections, fueling, and cleaning. Document mechanical performance and proactively report maintenance needs to ensure equipment longevity and safety.
• Operational Support: Assist in hazardous waste handling/shipping processes and participate in physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records.
• Safety Excellence: Actively contribute to our site safety culture by following all protocols and participating in company-wide safety programs.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Proven experience operating heavy mobile equipment (e.g., knuckleboom, wheel loader, front-end loader).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Note: Candidates for Level 3 will receive comprehensive training to achieve the qualifications and proficiency standards of a Level 2 Operator.
