Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mobile Engineer based in Brazil.
This is an opportunity to build the mobile infrastructure powering the next generation of digital asset and financial applications.
You will design and ship native mobile SDKs that make embedded wallet functionality secure, reliable, and easy for developers to integrate.
The role combines hands-on mobile engineering with ownership of SDK architecture, APIs, releases, and long-term maintainability.
You will work on security-sensitive functionality involving wallets, cryptography, blockchain interactions, and financial technology.
Your work will directly influence developer experience across a wide range of customer applications and platforms.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, developer relations, and support teams in a distributed, fast-moving environment.
This role is ideal for an experienced mobile engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and owning products from design through production.
Accountabilities
- Design and implement high-quality native mobile SDKs that enable seamless embedded wallet experiences, with strong attention to API ergonomics, performance, security, and reliability.
- Own SDK capabilities end-to-end, covering API design, architecture, implementation, testing, release management, versioning, and developer documentation.
- Build and maintain secure SDK components supporting wallet operations, cryptographic functionality, blockchain interactions, signing, and other security-sensitive workflows.
- Define and evolve mobile SDK architecture to support maintainability, backward compatibility, scalability, and adoption across diverse customer applications.
- Develop sample applications, demonstrations, and integration references that help developers understand and adopt SDK capabilities effectively.
- Create clear and comprehensive documentation, integration guides, and technical resources for developers.
- Partner with developer relations and support teams to investigate and resolve customer integration challenges.
- Establish and promote engineering best practices around automated testing, CI/CD, observability, release processes, and overall code health.
- Contribute actively to code reviews, technical discussions, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of complex engineering problems and deliver pragmatic, end-to-end solutions while maintaining a long-term architectural perspective.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on mobile development and production-grade SDKs.
- Deep hands-on experience with iOS and Swift and/or Android and Kotlin, with familiarity across both platforms and experience with React Native or other cross-platform technologies.
- Proven experience designing, building, packaging, versioning, releasing, and maintaining mobile SDKs or shared libraries over the long term.
- Experience with blockchain-enabled mobile applications, including wallet workflows, signing, on-chain interactions, or related digital asset functionality.
- Experience developing security-sensitive mobile software, particularly involving key management, secure storage, cryptography, or financial products.
- Strong understanding of mobile engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, release management, observability, and reliability.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound architectural decisions while remaining pragmatic, adaptable, and focused on delivery.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently identify problems, navigate ambiguity, and deliver complete solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering and customer-facing teams in a distributed environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with Rust and/or WebAssembly is a strong advantage, particularly for cross-platform SDK development.
- Experience designing shared core logic across iOS and Android is highly valued.
- Familiarity with advanced mobile security technologies such as secure hardware, MPC, or low-level cryptography is a plus.
- Previous experience building or owning a mobile platform or SDK from the ground up is advantageous.
- Candidates should be comfortable working remotely as part of a distributed team, with preference for those located within Americas time zones.
Benefits
- Fully remote opportunity within a distributed engineering organization.
- Opportunity to work on technology at the intersection of mobile development, blockchain, digital assets, fintech, and secure financial infrastructure.
- High ownership and autonomy over SDK architecture, technical decisions, and end-to-end product delivery.
- Opportunity to build infrastructure used by major crypto, fintech, and financial technology applications.
- Exposure to complex security, cryptography, blockchain, and mobile engineering challenges.
- Collaborative environment with strong emphasis on developer experience, technical excellence, reliability, and customer impact.
- Opportunity to contribute to innovative products shaping the future of digital asset and financial applications.
- Inclusive and diverse working environment that values different perspectives and backgrounds.
- Opportunities for continuous technical growth through hands-on work with modern mobile, blockchain, and security technologies.
