Mobile Diesel Technician / Truck MechanicFlexible Day shift Schedule AvailableWork 4 days (Mon-Thur) or 5 days (Mon-Fri)

Our team is currently looking for a Diesel Technician - Truck Mechanic to keep up our level of commitment to safety and customer service operating a service truck and performing onsite maintenance & repairs. What are the Duties?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Heavy Duty Diesel Technician.
  • Service and repair work, engine, drive train, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes
  • Troubleshooting and inspections
  • Preventative Maintenance
  • Good computer skills and good verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Will perform onsite maintenance & repairs at customer's location
  • Will operate mobile service truck daily
  • Preventative Maintenance Service Background Required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
  • No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card.

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
  • Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
  • The associate must be able to read and write reports.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years Diesel Mechanic experience required
  • Preferred Certificate or Degree from Diesel Program
  • CDL is a HUGE plus!
