100 - 830100 TG - Wellness For LifeThe Mobile Clinic Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all clinical activities and providers in the provision of medical services on the mobile clinic. This position requires strong organizational skills, communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team by navigating community resources and supporting patients in a mobile healthcare setting. Work involves driving the Mobile Clinic to communities within the health system’s market and remaining with the clinic throughout the duration of providing clinical services, coordinating mobile clinic events, while also supporting all community screenings and other programs in the Wellness for Life department.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary coursework or certification in healthcare, medical assisting, nursing, public health, or a related field preferred.
2. Experience providing clerical and administrative support in a healthcare or community health setting, including scheduling, data entry, calendar management, and tracking/reporting information.
3. Knowledge of basic clinical workflows and patient support, including documentation in electronic medical records, quality/compliance standards, and assisting with routine clinical tasks as directed.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with providers, staff, community partners, and patients, including recognizing and escalating urgent situations appropriately.
5. Ability to work independently and adapt to a mobile clinic environment, including supporting multiple clinic locations, community events, health fairs, and outreach activities.
6. This position requires the ability to operate a vehicle as a job-related function; candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle record acceptable under company and insurance guidelines.
