About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Mobile App Developer to build, improve, and maintain modern mobile applications across iOS and Android.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys turning product ideas and designs into polished, production-ready mobile experiences. You’ll work across native and cross-platform development, UI/UX implementation, API integrations, performance optimization, testing, and production releases.
You’ll collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, QA, and product teams to ship mobile applications that are fast, reliable, scalable, and enjoyable to use.

What You’ll Own
Mobile Application Development
- Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android
- Build native applications using:
- Develop cross-platform applications using:
- Build new product features and improve existing functionality
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and production-ready code
- Follow mobile development best practices and architecture standards
- Build with long-term scalability and maintainability in mind
UI/UX Implementation
- Translate Figma and product designs into polished mobile interfaces
- Build responsive experiences across:
- Maintain consistency with product design systems and UI standards
- Collaborate with designers to improve usability and interaction quality
- Implement intuitive navigation and interaction patterns
- Ensure interfaces remain visually polished across supported devices
API Integration & Backend Connectivity
- Integrate mobile applications with:
- Handle networking, data synchronization, and application state efficiently
- Troubleshoot integration issues between mobile and backend systems
- Optimize API communication for speed and reliability
- Handle failures and unexpected responses appropriately
- Collaborate with backend engineers when integration changes are required
Performance & Application Stability
- Monitor and improve:
- Identify and resolve crashes, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
- Optimize application behavior across supported devices
- Ensure consistent performance across operating system versions
- Build features with scalability and long-term maintainability in mind
- Investigate and resolve production issues quickly
Testing & Quality
- Test features across multiple devices and operating system versions
- Debug application issues and resolve defects before release
- Support regression testing and production validation
- Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to maintain high release quality
- Validate new functionality before deployment
- Identify device-specific and OS-specific issues
- Help prevent critical defects from reaching production
Deployment & Release Management
- Prepare applications for production releases
- Manage or support:
- Maintain versioning and release workflows
- Prepare production builds
- Monitor applications following deployment
- Investigate and resolve post-release issues
- Support reliable and repeatable release processes
Requirements
- 3+ years of mobile application development experience
- Strong experience with iOS and/or Android development
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as:
- Strong understanding of:
- Familiarity with architecture patterns such as:
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices
- Experience translating product designs into functional mobile interfaces
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, backend, and QA teams
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

What a Typical Day Looks Like
Your day may start by reviewing current development priorities, checking the latest build, or debugging an issue reported in production.
Throughout the day, you could build new mobile features, translate designs into responsive interfaces, integrate APIs and backend services, troubleshoot application issues, or optimize performance.
You’ll test functionality across devices, review code, collaborate with designers and other engineers, and prepare new builds for production release.
When an application reaches production, you’ll help monitor stability and respond quickly to issues that could affect users.
