SUMMARY
The MMSEA Compliance Manager is responsible to manage client registration, implementing and training for CMS Mandatory Insurer Reporting. This positon serves as the MMSEA subject matter expert and ensures all services are completed with the highest level of integrity and that all work is in full compliance with client contractual agreements, regulatory agency standards and/or federal and state mandates.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Interact and manage over 100 clients regarding registration and implementation processes, and continuous training for CMS Mandatory Insurer Reporting.
- Serve as the MMSEA Subject Matter Expert
- Analyze client data for compliance.
- Conduct conference calls and webinars for client training.
- Travel to client sites for training sessions, as needed.
- Conduct follow-up calls and emails with clients.
- Maintain client information in company systems.
- Adhere to corporate and departmental policies and procedures, including HIPAA requirements.
- Adhere to all safety, health rules/regulations and security associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
- Provide various client reporting support as needed.
- Regularly communicate with management and promotes effective and efficient utilization of business resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Must have prior Property & Casualty and/or Workers’ Compensation Industry experience; Understanding of CMS Medicare Secondary Payer Act and associated products/solutions preferred.
- Prior EDI, database and project management software experience useful.
- Must be proficient in multiple software programs, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel spreadsheets, Access, PowerPoint, and the Internet.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals, fractions, hours & minutes, and possess the ability to compute rates and percentages.
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to managements’ directions accurately.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. Look for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met.
- Must demonstrate effective communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and asking questions where clarification is needed.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. A minimum two years of experience in Property & Casualty and/or Workers’ Compensation Industry experience required. Prior EDI, database and project management software experience preferred.
