WE ARE HIRING: MLOps Engineer (GCP/AI Platform)

The Role

We are developing a new AI Assistant using the Google Cloud Agent Development Kit (ADK) and are looking for an enthusiastic MLOps Engineer to help us build and scale it. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in AI infrastructure and be a key part of a team building a production-grade AI service.

You will work closely with our engineers to help build, deploy, and maintain the infrastructure and operational pipelines for our AI agents. Your primary goal is to learn and contribute, ensuring our assistant is reliable, efficient, and ready to grow.

What You'll Do

• Support System Architecture: Contribute to the implementation of our production AI system, helping to build out the infrastructure, networking, and data flows on Google Cloud.
• Work with the Agent Engine: Get hands-on experience with Vertex AI Agent Engine You will assist in deploying, configuring, and managing our ADK-built agents on this platform.
• Build and Maintain MLOps Pipelines: Help build and maintain our CI/CD/CT (Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Training) pipelines. You will help automate the testing, versioning, and deployment of new agent versions.
• Assist with Monitoring: Help set up and monitor our observability tools (e.g., Google Cloud Monitoring, Logging). You'll learn to track agent performance, cost, and infrastructure health, helping the team respond to alerts.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use and maintain our IaC scripts (e.g., Terraform) to manage cloud resources repeatably and reliably.
• Collaborate and Learn: Work closely with ML Engineers (who build the agent logic in ADK) and Data Engineers (who supply the data) to help create a smooth path from development to production.

What We're Looking For (Required Qualifications)

• 1-3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, Software Engineering, or related technical role.
• Hands-on Experience with Google Cloud (GCP): Familiarity with core GCP services (e.g., Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GKE, Cloud Build).
• Familiarity with Vertex AI: A strong interest in or some exposure to the Vertex AI platform (e.g., Pipelines, Endpoints).
• CI/CD Concepts: Understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Cloud Build, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Containerization: Proficiency with Docker and a basic understanding of container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes/GKE).
• IaC Familiarity: Some exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform
• Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.

Nice-to-Haves (Preferred Qualifications)

• ⭐ A strong passion for learning about AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and agent-based systems
• Any project or internship experience related to AI or MLOps
• Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., Vertex AI Vector Search)
• Knowledge of data engineering tools like BigQuery or Pub/Sub
• Familarity with PostgreSQL
• Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or other relevant certification
