Job Description

The Mixing Scheduler is responsible for planning and scheduling mixing operations based on the availability of compounds for production. The role balances demand, production capacity, raw material availability and inventory targets to create efficient mixing plans while maintaining high service levels and operational efficiency. The Mixing Scheduler works closely with Production, E2E Planners, Quality, Warehouse, and MRP Team to support the plant’s overall production objectives.

This role is core as ensures production continuity by providing a stable and achievable mixing schedule according to the customer needs and optimizes plant capacity by maximizing mixer utilization and reducing changeovers, downtime, and inefficiencies. In addition, mitigates supply chain risks through proactive planning and rapid response to material or production constraints and supports plant performance by influencing key KPIs such as service level, productivity, inventory, schedule adherence, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly mixing schedules.
  • Align production plans with demand forecasts and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with Production, Production Planning, Supply Planning, Warehouse, and Quality teams to resolve supply or production issues.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust plans to address operational constraints.
  • Optimize mixing vessel utilization and minimize changeovers.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans when required.
  • Manage raw material availability constraints.
  • Analyze planning performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • University Degree in the Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or any other related field.
  • 0-1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in detailed scheduling, production planning, supply planning or material planning.
  • Previous experience in a big scale Fast Mover Consumer Goods (FMCG) production site will be considered as an asset.
  • Proficient skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Good knowledge on ERP systems and Microsoft office.
