Wausau Tile is seeking a dependable, safety-focused individual to fill the Mixer Cleanup role on the Mixer Deck. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment around the mixer and deck area to ensure efficient and safe operation. The ideal candidate is hardworking, able to follow safety protocols, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean mixer and deck areas using hand tools, scrapers, pressure washers, vacuums, and hoses.
- Remove concrete residue and buildup from equipment and surfaces.
- Perform light painting and touch-up tasks to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
- Report hazards, maintenance needs, or improvement opportunities to the Supervisor.
- Support other departments during downtime or when mixer cleanup is complete.
Tools & Equipment Used:
- Hand tools (scrapers, chisels, brushes)
- Pressure washers, water hoses, and industrial vacuums
- Cleaning chemicals and painting supplies (rollers, sprayers)
- Required PPE (gloves, respirators, goggles, etc.)
